Location :  Which is approximately 200 kilometers northeast of Pune, Maharashtra.  From ahmednagar  approximately 125 KM akole town.Agastya Rishi Ashram, located outside Akole town on riverview .The ashram is situated in Akole, a taluka (administrative division) in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.The ashram is nestled amidst the serene and picturesque Sahyadri Mountains.Akole is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and is known for its natural beauty..It is a renowned spiritual center associated with the sage Agastya. The ashram holds significant importance in Hindu mythology and attracts devotees and seekers from various parts of the country.

And one another temple is  their which is Lopamudra's temple, (Sanskrit: लोपामुद्रा) also known as Kaushitaki and Varaprada was a philosopher according to ancient Vedic Indian literature. She was the wife of the sage Agastya who is believed to have lived in the Rigveda .


 as many hymns have been attributed as her contribution to this Veda. She was not only the consort of Agastya but a Rishiki in her own right, as she was the well known Rishiki who visualized the "Hadi Panchadasi" mantra of the Srikul Shakta tradition of Hinduism. She was one of the prominent Brahmavadinis.
